Our e-design process starts with an initial kick-off email to discuss your style, needs and preferences. From there, we create an interactive eBooklet (PDF) with your Design that is delivered to your email after a few days. You will be able to click-n-shop directly from your file. Upon reception, Clients count with a Complementary 14-Day Designer Support to communicate 1:1 with us to provide feedback, request re-sources of out-of-stock items if necessary and/or ask any questions in regards to the design & implementation of the project. After this period our Services will conclude. Client is welcome to request further Design Work or Assistance (additional fees will apply)

Our Paint Colors Selection Packages and Virtual Design Advice Sessions (AKA e-Consultations) start with the same process: We send you an initial kick-off email to discuss your style, needs and preferences. From there, we create an interactive eBooklet (PDF) with your Curate Color Palette OR our Professional Design Advice to help you solve an specific Design Dilemma you might have.
This file is delivered to your email after a few days. Upon reception, Clients count with a Complementary 14-Day Designer Support to communicate 1:1 with us to provide feedback or ask any questions. This Service does not cover revisions. After this period, our Services will conclude. Client is welcome to request further Design Work or Assistance (additional fees will apply)
Most of the eDesign Packages are usually delivered within 1-4 weeks (unless noted), depending on the scope of work. Consult our current waiting list.
It varies depending on the Service Package you selected or the add-ons you would like to include. Message us for current pricing. We accept Zelle as our preferred payment method. Due to the electronic nature of this service, payment is collected in full prior any design work is carried on. For the same reason, we cannot offer refunds after your package is delivered because the Designer have been dedicated to curate your room, creating a personalized Design Plan for you.

You can always customize your package requesting additional Material Options, Paint Color Selections for more than one room, more 2D/3D Renderings, Mock-ups, Design Revisions or any further assistance. This is a Digital Service only, no virtual / in-person meetings or assistance with implementation is included with your package. You will have the flexibility to spruce your place at your own pace, meaning you can take care of the purchases & setup of the room when ready, and DIY or hiring your own contractors to help you with the non-styling works such as painting, renovations, electrical installs, etc. if your project requires any.
Please note that any additional revisions or Design Work requested after the Complementary 14-Day Design Support will be subject of extra Service fees to cover our time being dedicated on your request.

VM Designs For You understands that your privacy is of critical importance. We don’t sell your data, we may collect and use some of your personal info for our business and communication purposes only. If we do any references to your project, only your public info may be displayed.
By purchasing any of our Services, the Clients are automatically giving us permission to take pictures inside of their property. These pictures will be part of the interior designer’s portfolio ("Before & After" Project Reveals). In addition, VM Designs For You will ask you at the end of our Project to write a Review for us (and/or a Recommendation in your Community FB Group). Client Testimonial is very important to us. Your time doing so will be appreciated since it affirms the client’s satisfaction and value of the services provided. Clients also allow us to use these Images & Testimonials in the future for business or publicity reasons, like posting online (website, social media, etc ), or for marketing and advertising purposes (magazines, flyers, books, etc).
Happy Clients is our goal! Design is inherently subjective. We are meeting different people with different styles and needs all the time, so while we will make every effort to ensure your satisfaction. We are here to help you transform your house into the home you always dreamt about. By purchasing any of our Services, you agree that VM Designs For You, LLC cannot and does not warrant or guarantee that you will be completely satisfied with our Design Services and/or the design ideas, advices and/or opinions given during Consultations, Design Proposals or eDesign Packages. These are simply design recommendations for your space based on our experience.
Services Quotes and Gift Certificates are valid for up to 30 (thirty) days after the date issued, unless noted. After that date, Prices and Service Terms may change at any time without further notice.
In the same way that a Client has the option to hire us or not, VM Designs For You, LLC reserves the right not to service a client based on our own determinations, factoring things like: client reach out after that frame time and now our prices/services/schedule have changed, OR client follows up requesting to change the service conditions or the scope of work described in the Service Quote provided AFTER the initial consultation (e.g. Client wants to do only part of the suggested project with us instead of the entire project), OR based on the client location, OR project does not meet the minimum budget, OR the kind of project the client is requiring is not quite aligned to our working style or working preferences, OR we are temporarily unavailable serve our client for any reasons... among other things or circumstances.
In any of those situations where we consider that we are not a good fit for those clients' needs or we don't provide the kind of service they are looking for, we will kindly let them know about our considerations and we could suggest to find another person to address that project (e.g. a different contractor/designer).
We can accept Cash, Personal Checks and Electronic Payments (specifically Zelle). No Credit/Debit Cards at this time, sorry. For Virtual Services (such as eDesign or eConsultations) the only payment method accepted is electronic.
* Virtual Consultations or E-Design Services and Gift Cards must be paid in full prior our Services are provided.
* In-Person Consultations have an Hourly Fee that will be collected at the time of our meeting, unless noted.
* Interior Design Projects must be paid following the specific payment schedule set in your Service Agreement or Service Quote.
Returned Check Fee:
If you pay by check and it happens to bounce, you (client) will be responsible to replace the check immediately. In addition, a $40 returned-check fee will be charged and VM Designs For You, LLC will ask the client to pay in cash the total amount due this time.
Service Refunds / Cancellations:
Due to the nature of our Services, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on services provided. We understand that Design is subjective but are sorry. All our Service Sales are final (Digital or In-Person). If you are no completely satisficed please reach out to us and we will do our best to make you happy. Please read the "Customer Satisfaction" term or contact us if you have any questions. By purchasing our services, you are agreeing with our Terms and Conditions.
The price of your ePackage or any Design Service represents the fees for the Professional Designer Assistance you are getting throughout the project. The Service Quote will describe the services that the Designer will be providing and an estimation of the total of hours required to help you bring your vision to life. The Scope of Work may vary but most of the time includes Design Work such as:
When the client is ready to move forward with the Service requested, VM Designs For You will ask the client to sign an Interior Design Agreement to formalize our work and a non-refundable deposit (or full payment, depending on the service) will be collected. The client will agree to pay for any remained amount (if any) including reimbursements that the client may own to VM Designs For You, LLC, no later than the completion of the project day OR ePackage delivery day.
If the client requests additional services or further assistance during the design process (not covered in the initial Service Quote that the client approved), an extra hourly or flat fee will be charged accordingly. Examples of the most common extra charges are: Design Revisions, Additional Meetings (in person and/or over the phone), Additional Shopping Assistance, etc.
In addition, and because a designer is not a general contractor, when some Projects require the input of a different professional such as General Contractors, Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, etc, Client will enter in a separate contract for this 3rd part services. VM Designs For You won't be involved in those projects neither provide the client or this 3rd part with Design Advice, unless specified in our Service Agreement or Service Quote. Additional Charges will apply if Design Advice and Guidance is requested.
In-Person Consultations can be scheduled through our website or requested via email or our Social Media apps (FB/IG). They have an Hourly Fee that must be paid in full at the time of our meeting, unless noted (refer to "Payment" Term). Usually, our meetings last up to one hour (minimum fee chargeable: 1hr), but if we need more time, the following minutes/hours after that initial hour will be charged proportionally.
Cancellations & Waiting Time:
We understand that some unexpected situations can happen. We ask that you please reschedule or cancel your Consultation at least 24 hours before the beginning of your appointment or you may be billed with a cancellation fee of $50. Please understand that we saved that spot in our schedule for you. So if you cancel on us, this charge is intended to cover -partially- our time that we could be assisting another client (keep in mind that when you book your spot we automatically won't offer it to other clients)
Also, If you are not home by the time of our Meeting and we need to wait for you, your Total Amount Due will consider the whole time spent on your home address (waiting time + actual consultation time). If for any reason VM Designs For You, LLC cannot arrive on time to the meeting or needs to reschedule, we will let you know as soon as possible.
Furnishings/Materials: Your Service Quote for Home Styling or Remodeling Services (Virtual or In-Person) does not include the cost of the actual furnishing pieces / materials required for your Project. Fees represent -purely- our Design Work.
Shopping List: Client will receive the complete list of the elements required for the projects and the links to order online. Client must place the orders and pay for such goods, directly to the vendors. VM Designs For You, LLC will provide assistance in specifying details such as size, colors, textures, patterns, etc to make this purchasing process so easy and convenient to the client.
Cancellations/Returns/Misplaced Orders: Client will be responsible of approving their chosen material options, placing the orders and paying for those goods. Sometimes there are some items that cannot be cancelled or returned, specially customized pieces, or there are some sellers/vendors that request for a re-stocking fee if an item is returned. For those reasons, we encourage our Clients to double check the specs of each material suggested before purchasing.

Our visual representations of your space are not intendent to be used as a construction document or for renovation purposes. Graphics may not be in exact scale so it's a responsibility of the Clients to double check if the dimensions of the elements proposed satisfy their needs and likes . Our designs are strictly for visual reference relating to décor and styling projects that you could do yourself or to visualize and curate materials for your home remodeling projects. You could modify the Design Proposal as your convenience since it serves as a guidance/visual reference but VM Designs For You, LLC cannot be liable for any work handled by the client neither we won't be responsible for any of those changes and the final results.
We may revise and update these Policies, Terms and Conditions of Service at any time, and at our sole discretion, without further notice. Any such modification will be effective immediately upon public posting. Your continued use of our Service and this Site following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of these modified Terms.
